Employee Synergy works with Educational Institutions to provide the most comprehensive group of In-Service Training and Seminars available. In-Service Training for Educational Institutions offers our clients new ways and a more in-depth view of how they relate to the problems and challenges facing schools and educational agencies today. We specialize in helping schools and education agencies with their employee challenges and professional development.

Below is a brief summary of several of our most widely used seminars. You can browse through the In-Service Training and Seminars below or if you are trying to address a specific employee challenge.

In-Service Training

We currently offer three different training opportunities for education. Our Teamwork Seminar Series will provide you with the tools to build a cohesive team in your school that will take you to the next level of achievement.

Developing Teamwork and Understanding

Public and Private Sector along with the Educational Institutions cannot achieve their potential unless they have built strong cohesive teams. Participants in this workshop take a fifteen minute Profiles Performance Indicator assessment prior to the training date. During this 2 hour and 15 minute workshop your staff members will learn their personality type and how they relate to other personality types. They will also learn traits of their co-workers in each of five key behavior categories. This helps build greater understanding within teams. Principals/Administrators (Managers) will also receive reports which will help them work with the participants more effectively in the future.

Developing Teamwork and Understanding II

This workshop addresses the learning styles and behavioral traits of your staff members. Attendees will learn how to work better with other staff members. They will each take the Profile XT and will receive a Profile XT Individual Report and Coaching Report. Administrators will receive important information that will help them take the best advantage of their staff members. This 2 hour workshop will help school administrators develop an even more effective staff.

Building Stronger Teams

This outstanding In-Service Training workshop has been designed to be the third in our series of teamwork seminars.

Participants will first review personality traits discussed in the Developing Teamwork and Understanding Seminar. Team members will then learn the 12 characteristics needed in a strong team: control, social, patience, precision, ambition, positive expectancy, composure, analytical, results orientation, emotions, team player, and quality orientation.

Each team will try to determine if they have members with strengths in each area. Everyone will receive a Profiles Team Analysis report showing the strengths and weaknesses of the team. Team leaders will spend time working with members learning to work with these factors as described in the report.

We will then introduce real problems proposed by the management. The teams will develop solutions to these problems and present them to the group. Following all of the presentations, the groups will be allowed to meet again to perfect their solutions.

Assessments

School districts are currently using our assessments to help them know more about the candidates they are considering for employment. If schools are going to meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind laws, they cannot afford to take chances on the teachers that they hire to teach their students. School Administrators can only get limited information from previous employers and often do not get correct information due to resignation agreements.

Our assessments can help you get the information that you need to find high quality teachers. Are your applicants honest and reliable? What are their attitudes about substance abuse, being at work on time and leaving early? Do their thinking styles, interests and behavioral traits match those of your best employees? Other school districts are using our assessments to get this information and select the highest quality teachers and employees.

Schools are using this pre-employment screening tool for assessing the attitudes of job candidates regarding integrity, responsibility, drug use and work ethic. This important information provided by this assessment will help replace the information once provided by reliable references.

For administrators, managers, and supervisors in leadership positions, it can facilitate peak performance that generates improved productivity. CheckPoint quantifies a participant's competencies, verifies the results from a variety of perspectives, and identifies ways to enhance skills. These competencies are seen from the view of the manager, their supervisor, peers, and employees reporting to them.
